Blossman Gas was founded as a family business in 1951 and independence is at our core: it allows us to remain agile, to build our gas service business while allocating substantial resources to market innovations and Research and Development efforts. Through our 70-year history, Blossman has proven our ability to focus on market-leading customer service while investing in new market-building technologies, including autogas, mowers, generators, tankless water heaters and micro-Combined Heat and Power (mCHP).
Autogas
Blossman founded Alliance AutoGas – the country’s first and only nationwide network providing everything fleets need to transition from gasoline to autogas efficiently and affordably. Alliance AutoGas’ development of fast fill autogas infrastructure with remote fuel management integration is a breakthrough for fleet fueling.
Mowers
Blossman also leads the way in promoting propane-powered lawn equipment, which (like autogas vehicles) has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in an emissions-heavy service industry.
Generators
Blossman helped develop, launch and grow the tremendous market for propane-powered backup generators. We assisted in the development of “Power Now” generator applications, which provide a seamless transition from immediate-use platforms to permanent installation.
Tankless Water Heaters
Since 1983, Blossman has worked with Rinnai to launch and market propane-powered tankless water heaters in the U.S.
Micro Combined Heat and Power
Micro CHP technology allows for efficient onsite electrical-power generation while providing waste-fueled heat to enhance payback efficiencies. Combined with multiple fuel source offerings (propane, natural gas, methane), these units provide commercial grade electricity to residential, industrial and utility applications.
