Energy Industry Leaders Partner to Further Renewable Propane Technology Development

Ocean Springs, Mississippi – January 25th, 2023 – BioLPG LLC (Washington, DC) and rLPG North America (Ocean Springs, MS) have announced their partnership to support and collaborate in further development of the renewables-sourced, green bioLPG-producing, Cool LPG process invented by GTI Energy (Chicago).

rLPG North America joins European LPG sector leaders Green LG Energy S.r.l. (Milan, Italy) and Friedrich Scharr KG (Stuttgart, Germany) as funders of Cool LPG technology research. The parties intend to engage in bioLPG production at scale.

rLPG North America is a consortium of well-known North American companies (Blossman Gas, Inc.; Blue Star Gas Holding Company; Cavagna North America Inc.; NGL Supply Terminals Company; and Paraco Gas Corporation) focused on achieving a decarbonization route at scale for LPG supply. Stuart Weidie, President of rLPG North America, said, “Our consortium recognizes the fast-evolving and substantial need for affordable, green bioLPG at scale.
