Each year on St. Patrick’s Day, the sneaky leprechauns play tricks on children all over the world! The best way to catch them is with a leprechaun trap. First, you have to create a trap to leave out the entire day. Then, you have to lore the leprechauns in with gold, rainbows, or Lucky Charms. Once the leprechaun takes the bait, you’ve got them! Unless…the leprechaun has another trick up his hat. Here are some leprechaun traps that have worked in the past. Good luck!
MATERIALS
- Miniature Leprechaun Hat
- Green Construction Paper
- Pipe Cleaner
- Lucky Charms
- Stickers
- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Bend a 2-3 inch pipe cleaner piece at both ends. Glue the pipe cleaner down to your construction paper.
2. Prop the hat on the pipe cleaner so that it is at an angle. If it does not stand up, you may need to glue it to the hat.
3. Add a trail of Lucky Charms leading into the hat.
4. Add some stickers or other embellishments to the paper for decoration.
