Goblin Pancakes Halloween Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt, or more to taste
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1-2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2-4 strawberries

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop roughly 2 oz of batter onto the pan. Add 2 drops of batter on each side to make arms and legs. Brown on both sides. Repeat until all cupcakes are cooked.
  3. Plate your monster pancake. Cut banana slices for eyes – top each eye with a blueberry. Thinly slice strawberries to make mouth. Add banana triangles for teeth. Serve with side of warm syrup.
