Cleaning out your garage and stumped by propane tanks no longer in use, so old you don’t know if you can use them, or just more tanks than you could ever need taking up space? We can help!
Here are two simple pointers to consider as you organize your storage spaces this summer:
1 – To make sure your cylinder is still qualified for refilling, check the collar for the “birth date” of your cylinder. It should be no more than 12 years old. If you’re not sure, you can find more details in the propane cylinder article online, or call your local store for help from a trained service technician.
2 – If your cylinder has passed its certification date, or you just want to get rid of an old cylinder, bring the tank to your local Blossman store. There a service technician can either perform the necessary tasks to requalify a cylinder, or safely recycle and dispose of a cylinder that can no longer be of use.
If you want to make a little more room, now is a great time to take advantage of our tankless water heater promotion that would free up space in your garage or utility closet, plus the giving you the convenience of on-demand hot water, energy efficiency benefits, and savings on utility bills.
