Cold Weather and Your Tank Levels

Here in the Southeast, when the local weather forecast says, "arctic blast coming," we make a mad dash for the grocery store to buy up all the bread and milk. We also worry about icy roads, car batteries, water pipes, and frozen toes. We double-check to be sure our car and generator tanks are full, just in case we lose power. Propane tank levels are another major concern for the millions of families who use propane to cook, and for water, space, and home heating. Blossman customers who are on "Worry Free" or CPP Plus plans can relax because we've already got you covered - your tank is monitored by your branch office to stay sufficiently full at all times!

For those Blossman customers who choose "Will Call" status, you are responsible for checking your own tank level. Propane tanks are permitted by federal regulations to reach a maximum level of 80%. Therefore, if your tank is between 25% and 80%, you should be set for the coming cold temperatures. However, if your tank level has dropped to 20% or below, now is the time to request a fill-up from your local Blossman branch! The best way to request a fill during the busy season is by using our online customer portal, https://portal.blossmangas.com. You may also call your local branch, where we have employees working around the clock to respond to each call.

Thank you for being a Blossman Customer - and stay safe and warm this winter!
