Blossman Services' Small Engines Division Enters Commercial Lawn Mower Market with New EPA-Certified Conversion Kits

Blossman Services, Inc. (BSI), a subsidiary of The Blossman Companies announces that its Small Engines Division has received EPA-certifications (CARB certification pending) for the Kawasaki engines:

852cc (FX751V,FX801V, FX850V); 764cc ( FH741D, FH770D); 726cc ( FX651V,FX691V,FX730V); 675cc (FH601V,FH641V,FH661V,FH680V,FH721V); 675cc (FH601D,FH641D,FH680D,FH721D); 603cc (FX481V,FX541V,FX600V) for its ENERkit Small-Engine Systems(ESS) mower conversion kit that has recently entered the commercial lawn mower market.

Engine CERTS are Included for engine model years 2008 through 2014 with HP range 15.5 to 25.5.

The ENERkit will provide cost savings and a high quality conversion kit to the lawn care industry and any propane company in the U.S. In addition to after-market conversions, Blossman Services provides direct engineering and fuel system support to small engine OEM’s.

ENERkit separates itself in the market by incorporating a tamper-proof regulator, a newly designed duel venturi mixer and not requiring a proprietary tuner. All ENERkit components are specifically designed and engineered for small engine use only.

The kit gives a landscaper with newer mowers the ability to honor the warranty and serve the most popular cc engine mowers with a lower cost, quality propane conversion kit. The EPA-certified kits for Kawasaki FX801V engine qualifies for a $500 incentive through the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) Propane Mower Incentive Program.

“The demand for a cleaner lawn care alternative is evident and on the rise, affecting the commercial industries of universities, cities & municipalities, and landscaping. Blossman Gas leads the way in propane-powered lawn equipment. Creation and conversion of mowers to propane has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduces costs even prolong the life of the mower’s engine,” notes Ed Hoffman, president of Blossman Services Inc.

The Small Engines Division of BSI provides propane fuel systems for engines used in commercial mowers, generators, forklifts, irrigation systems, and CHP systems.

PERC’s Propane Mower Incentive Program offers landscape professionals $500 toward each qualified propane mower conversion, or $1000 toward each purchase of a new propane-powered original equipment manufacturer mower. In addition, many states offer incentives for converting off-road equipment to propane. To learn more about PERC’s incentive, or to find a propane retailer who can discuss state incentives, visit
