For the fifth year, Blossman Gas had a BBQ cooking team to benefit the Mississippi Gulf Coast Symphony. The event attracts over 1,000 from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and gives Blossman employees a chance to show our customers that we support the community and to tell the Blossman story to prospective customers.

Blossman Gas is pleased to have been named one of the Top Propane Retailers in the nation by LP Gas Magazine. With nearly 135,000 customers and millions of retail gallons of propane sold in 2013, Blossman was ranked #8 on LP Gas Magazine's list.

Blossman Gas donated $200,000 to four states experiencing the greatest heating shortages this past winter. Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and 5 counties in North Carolina (Swain, Avery, Haywood and Jackson and Buncombe) were given donations earmarked for their Low Income Energy Assistance Programs (LIHEAP).

Propane appliances such as grills, patio heaters, fire pits, and outdoor lights are great ways to help you maximize enjoyment of your outdoor living area while providing a safe source of warmth, ambience, and —of course— burgers! Because many of these appliances are portable and available in a range of sizes and prices, you can customize your outdoor space to fit your style, needs, and budget.

Not long ago, an outdoor cooking area consisted of a portable grill and a picnic table. Today, more and more homeowners are stepping up their game, with some creating elaborate alfresco built-in kitchens, while others opt for grills with an abundance of new prep and cooking features. What do all of these have in common? Propane. As warmer weather approaches, now is the time to do your Propane Gas Safety Check on your propane equipment associated with outdoor living.
