Branch Manager
The Branch Manager is responsible for assisting all employees of a branch store
in meeting the requirements of their individual positions, and for ensuring
that all facilities and employees meet or exceed the required safety standards
for employees, customers, and the general public.
When seeking Manager candidates, Blossman Gas desires individuals who have excelled
in prior management positions or show the potential for success in the future, possess
a high level of personal and professional integrity, and desire to lead their
branch team to being a model for small business in their respective community.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred
Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement
Prior sales experience and knowledge of area preferred
Prior computer experience preferred
Possess excellent communication skills
Be committed to safety and customer service
Branch Administrator
The Branch Administrator is responsible for, under direction of the Branch
Manager, the daily "in-house" operations of a branch office, including customer
sales, service, and administrative functions.
When seeking Administrator candidates, Blossman Gas desires individuals who
have prior inside sales and/or clerical experience, are familiar with operating
a computer, and enjoy customer service while working in a retail environment.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior sales and/or office experience preferred.
Prior computer experience preferred.
Possess excellent communication skills including a cheerful telephone voice
Possess the ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping helpful.
Gas Salesperson/Route Driver
The Gas Salesperson/Route Driver is responsible for delivering propane gas to
existing customers, within an assigned route, and seeking out new customers
within those routes. Performing safety checks for customers is also a regular
part of the Gas Sales/Route Driver's duties.
When seeking qualified drivers, Blossman Gas desires someone who is committed to
operating our delivery trucks safely, enjoys working an established route often
during non-traditional working hours, and enjoys providing customers with a
product in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement
Prior route sales experience and knowledge of area preferred
Possess good communication skills
Some prior computer experience helpful
Service Technician
The Service Technician installs and services customer and company-owned
propane storage tanks, gas piping systems, and appliances. In addition
to a wide variety of appliances, our technicians also install and services
gas fireplaces, generators, tank-less hot water heaters, and more. Performing
safety checks for customers is also a regular part of the Service Technician duties.
When seeking qualified technicians, Blossman Gas desires someone who has
prior propane or appliance service experience or an aptitude for mechanical
work. However, comprehensive service training will be provided to compliment
current experience. We seek someone who is committed to safety, enjoys working
at non-traditional hours, and would enjoy providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement
Prior propane, appliance, or mechanical experience preferred
Possess good communication skills
Some prior computer experience helpful
Branch Office Worker
The Branch Office Worker meets the needs of our customers by providing
knowledge of our products/services, filling propane cylinders and motor fuel
tanks, and assisting with appliance sales. This position also requires
assisting the branch staff with some of the office functions and occasionally
transporting propane tanks and/or providing gas delivery.
When seeking qualified Branch Office Workers, Blossman Gas seeks someone who
enjoys customer service/sales and office work.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement preferred
Prior sales and/or office experience preferred.
