Heating a Home Safely during Cold Weather Months

Running a household is a demanding job, and our Blossman families are always looking for ways to simplify, save and feel secure. Approximately 8.4 million U.S. households rely on propane for home heating. Our Blossman customers tell us that they are seeking clean, comfortable, environmentally friendly products and services that provide comfort to the home, and we think propane fits the bill.

Greenhouse Gas Reduction: A recent whole-home study by the Propane Education & Research Council showed that each propane appliance resulted in a minimum of 70 percent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions per appliance.

Blossman Gas offers propane-powered appliances, zone heaters and fireplaces to our customers - saving them time, energy and money. Parents today say that safety, environmental consciousness and using American–made products are a critical part of their homes and lifestyle, and we are happy to carry many American-made brands.

Cost savings: On average, propane costs about half as much per BTU as electricity, and Dept of Energy studies show that cooking with propane reduces household costs by one-third the amount compared to cooking with electricity. A propane tankless water heater conserves enough energy and increases energy efficiency by 30%.

Made in America: 100 percent of the propane used in America is made in North America, increasing the energy security of America. Blossman customers tell us that they find that by relying on propane for various products in the home, including heating and power for appliances, they are decreasing the dependency on the electric grid in the event of a power outage. We proud to say that Blossman customers love buying American!
